Mounting Hardware can be a large part of the aesthetic appeal of a solar system. Some hardware is black/grey, lays very close to the roof and blends beautifully with your roofline. Other hardware contains steel rails that rise above the roof and expose all the underlying flashings and wiring of the solar system. All mounting hardware is code-complaint, capable of mounting to asphalt, tile or standing seam roofs. In addition, mounting hardware can be penetrating and/or of the non-penetrating type.
